Mr. Raj Kumar Aryal
Mr Raj Kumar Aryal joined Sun Nepal Life Insurance Limited Company as the CEO from October 2017.
Prior to joining this company he has served as the head of the legal division of the Insurance Board (Regulatory body of Insurance companies in Nepal) for more than a decade. He also has a vast amount of experience in financial sector policy formulation, regulation and academic research and development.
Mr Aryal has had a long experience as a trainer and course instructor in the area of risk management and insurance, life insurance and health insurance and corporate laws. Mr Aryal has a sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of life insurance and its management. He has also been continuously been engaged as a legal professional representing at various courts of Nepal since last 21 years.
He has also attended numerous domestic and international seminars and trainings in the areas of financial sector regulation. He has obtained LL.M (Master in Law) specializing in Corporate Law from University of Pune, India.
Mr. Binod Sharma Poudel
Mr Binod Sharma Poudel is Senior Manager in Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited from September 2017. At present he has been performing the role of head of compliance department/finance department.
Before joining this company he was working in Asian Life Insurance Company Limited as manager. He has work experience of almost 10 years from Asian Life Insurance Company Limited. Mr Sharma has also worked in Nepal life Insurance Company Limited for 3 years. Overall, he has a rich experience of 13 years in Life Insurance management. He has participated in various trainings related to insurance management and compliance.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Masters in Business Studies (M.B.S) and Bachelors in Law (LLB) from Tribhuvan University.
Mr. Bibek Kharel
Mr Bibek Kharel is the Company Secretary of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited from December 2018. He has graduated from Kathmandu School of Law (Purbanchal University) with the degree of LLB (5 years degree in Bachelor of Laws). Mr Kharel also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from Tri-Chandra College, Tribhuwan University.
He has various experiences in legal research and writing. He is a licensed advocate practicing in the legal profession, and is actively involved in drafting and reviewing contracts, policies and various other legal instruments as well as in providing legal opinion on contemporary legal issues.
He has participated in various international and domestic seminars related to law. He has a sound knowledge and understanding of Corporate Governance and Role & Responsibilities of Company Secretary.
